Hello Friends,
March begins with the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune in the extraordinary realm of Pisces.
Your intuitive and imaginative powers are bubbling to the surface of awareness. Use this gift to enhance your creative, peaceful, spiritual pursuits.
With intense Pisces energy, it’s also a time when you’re more likely to run away from reality.
Pisces, a dual sign of two fish swimming in opposite directions but tethered to the same source, offers the sublime high of cosmic unity and exalted loving awareness — along with the potential for delusions, disconnection, denial, distortions, and other types of strangeness that come from holding on to a particular story, without objective reasoning.
Maybe it’s time to pause and contemplate what you honestly long for with Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces on March 8.
Pisces allows you to be gentle with yourself and everyone. But remember, it won't help to be a Pisces savior or martyr.
Use the structure of Saturn in Pisces to know the difference and respond to the wisdom of your creative light.
Gentleness is confronted with the roughness of life as a strong storm of building uproar is forming, with Mars in Aquarius drawing more interest in humanitarian action as it squares Uranus in Taurus on March 9.
The Pisces New Moon follows the next day, March 10, and offers a lunar cycle of recentering amid the chaos of a conflicted world with the real talk of Mercury in Aries until May 15 due to its retrograde on April 1.
Eclipse season begins on March 16 as the Sun in Pisces moves within 19 degrees of the north node in Aries. A potent total solar eclipse in Aries will move across the eastern United States on April 8.
Spring begins in the northern hemisphere with the bold initiative of the Aries Ram as a new zodiacal year begins with the Vernal Equinox on March 19.
This Sun in Aries is doubly empowered by the lunar north node that entered Aries last July.
As the first cardinal sign, Aries marks a shift into a phase of rapid change, movement, and significant developments.
The Sun is exalted in warrior Aries, and with the nodal axis so close, there’s a strong indication there will be a change in leadership and military command.
As Aries enters, it brings a Leo Moon in tight opposition to Pluto in Aquarius.
I’ll return to explain how the alignment of the Aries ingress symbolizes multiple nations and the activation of the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction at 0° Aquarius later this month, along with more about the healing power of the Aries total solar eclipse.
Venus will conjunct Saturn in Pisces on March 21 and bring sober truths about the values we need to hold to create a better life.
Mars, Aries ruler and god of war, enters Pisces on March 22 through April with its anti-war approach. Mars in Pisces seeks peace, and in a war-oriented world, your energy is best applied to creative endeavors and humanitarian missions that help and don’t harm.
Solar eclipses can bring lunar eclipses before and after a solar eclipse. There will be only one lunar eclipse before the Aries total solar eclipse on April 8, on March 25.
The Libra Lunar Eclipse is a penumbral eclipse, meaning the more diffuse outer shadow of the Earth will only partially shade the face of the Moon.
The light from the Sun on the Moon will still be intense, so you'll hardly visually notice this eclipse.
You'll still feel the strong presence of Libra, a reflective air sign that uses the mind to sort out strong thoughts about truth and justice.
There will be a focus on agreements, relationships, and legal decisions. But with Mercury in Aries slowing down and in its retrograde shadow for a retrograde on April 1, it would be better to wait until after Mercury finishes its retrograde on April 24 to make any decisions in these areas.
Finally, on March 26, Mercury will join Eris for the first of three feisty conjunctions (April 8 and May 11) due to the Mercury retrograde beginning April 1.
As you can read, there’s a lot at stake this month and beyond.
Schedule a session with me, and I’ll help you define your courageous path.
With love, always,
